The Site Briefing Notes are currently being revised. The following warning will be included in the full set of notes: Due to dangerous turbulence and severe sink caused by the lie of the land between the north face of Bishop and West Lomond Hills, pilots are strongly recommended not to cross this gully below 1600 ft QFE Portmoak (MINIMUM) in moderate winds, with additional height margin in strong winds.
